Strawberry gummy bunnies would like to say, “goodnight” and “sweet dreams” to you except they can’t because I ate them.

One of these years I am going to get it right. Ah, the elusive matcha roll. Well it turned out better than my last attempt. The sugar totally absorbed by the time we ate it, so you could only see what year it was if you looked at it from a 75 degree angle with your eyes squinched. Also, there was a huge crack across the top signifying that 2012 is the end of the world. Regardless, it was so very tasty. I used this recipe and chose to fill it with vanilla pudding instead of whipped cream.
Vanilla pudding filling:2 cups milk1/3 cup sugar4 tbs corn starch2 tsp vanilla1/2 tsp salt
Put all ingredients into small saucepan. Cook over low heat, stirring constantly, until it comes to a boil. Cook for one minute longer, then remove from heat. When cool, spread on cake according the recipe linked above.
Ok wow, we are more than a week into 2012 already. How’s your year coming along? Mine’s been pretty delicious so far. But, somebody teach me the secrets to making a jelly roll please?

Stop, snail! The plants have been in since before Halloween, but I just found this guy (gal?) living in my indoor garden. If I put it outside now, will it become a snailcicle?

Good morning. My breakfast is taller than it is wide. That means today is going to be a good day!

The way things were going, I thought I might have flowers in the garden for Christmas. Yesterday: blooming, today: DEAD.
